Gambling - Consultation on digital advertising

On the 9th May the Gambling Commission launched a consultation on the proposed wording of a new licence condition entitled “Placing digital adverts responsibly”.
It is intended that the final condition(s), which deals with the placing of digital advertisements by Operators and/or Operators who have advertisements placed by third parties (including affiliates) will be included in the update of the licence conditions and codes of practice (LCCP) due in the Autumn . It will also be relevant to those affiliates and those with an interest in digital marketing and copyright protection.
The consultation will run until 20th June 2016. A link to the consultation document can be found here.
